Bridge The GAP - Giving Access to Planning - Phase I

It’s a fact that free SRH services are easily available in the targeted area i.e. citywide (Lahore, Pakistan), still the outreach is limited. Keeping the scenario in mind MASHAL decided to Bridge The Gap (Giving Access to Planning) by active engagement of youth and community. To do the need full Laraib Abid pitched an idea of Pakistan’s first Mobile Application. Pilot phase Mobile Application helped marginalized people and youth to trace free and easily accessible SRH services available around them. For which it was planned to engage a Doctor and SRH service providers in the city in developing the most effective and efficient Mobile Application for the Android based smart Phones.  As a pilot, we took Lahore city and did a project on effectivity and efficiency of Mobile Applications. This phase was utilized in finalizing and gathering the authentic content and main designing of the back and front end of the applications.
